Cebu Pacific’s 1++ fare promo

Like the previous years 1 peso promo, Cebu Pacific is once again coming out with a 1++ promo.

This time international flights will be included as well as a total 300,000 seats will be available. This is a marked increase compared to the previous years 50,000 seats offered. List of flight destinations can be found here.

Reservation will be open from March 2 to March 8 only. Flight schedules will be between Jun 1 to Dec 15, 2007, again this is an improvement as the flight schedules are longer than the previous years offer.

Reservations can be made at the cebupacific website here. Because of the popularity of this promo however I’ve noticed that the site has become unavailable, so I’d recommend munching on huge bag of “Patience” when booking *snicker* Or you could always just go to the nearest Cebu Pacific ticket center to avail of the promo.

Honestly speaking it’s a real shock to learn that people who read this blog treat the blogger as their travel agent / personal travel consultant. What’s wrong with these readers? Why can’t they just read the content, go cebu pacific website and check out the details themselves. If you expect to be spoon feed all the time and can’t be bother to check it out by yourself (although the news has been given), don’t think you’re really serious in grabbing (yes, I use the word as grab instead of buy as you need to be fast and ahead of everyone else in order to get these crazy cheap fares) these super cheap bargains.

to those who want to avail of the php1- airfare,

Please take note that cebupac has a no-refund clause. If your are a busy person and going to an unpopular destination your flight might get cancelled. you’ll just waste your time and money.

try asking the security personnel within the check-in area of the airport. Usually, flights of cebupac which are not fully booked are cancelled.

it happened to me when i booked a flight to laoag. The plane only had 18 passengers at that time.

That didnt even give us a hotel accomodation or any alternative to go to laoag.

haay… what do you expect from a promo fare nga naman…

Greetings,

Be careful with Cebu Pacific because I was informed that I will probably get my refund back after 6 months. That was after they helped themselves to a generous cancellation fee.

I called to ask about my refund and there was a problem with it and they hadn’t done anything with it. If I didn’t call and check on my refund it would remained unprocessed. That is, no one was going to call me and inform me and I think they would have kept my money.

Maybe I can say that for the price the level of service as you should expect, terrible.

I have been waiting for almost one year for a refund on a ticket which I paid cash and was falsely forced to purchase by Cebu Pacific in Hong Kong. I was traveling to the P.I. from Hong Kong with my Filipina wife and am authorized to have my passport stamped as balikbayan upon arrival by Philippine’s Customs authority.
This is a scam. If you try to call there refund land line in Manila, you get the busy signal constantly. My emails have gotten me delayed responses with no direct questions of mine answered. They only come up with excuses, lies, and ignorance. The best one was “Sir, sorry for the delayed response, my personal computer has been broken for weeks and I was unable to read my emails”….. Huh? What kind of computer system is that where you cannot use a different company computer. Never heard of it… because it is all lies. When will people learn to be straight forward and tell the truth. Is it so bad to say that you are wrong or you don’t know? This is what makes me angry. I hate being lied to. It is a matter of principle now, but it is hard to explain that to a company with no morals.
Thanks for letting me rant. I will continue to put down this 5th rate airline whatever chance I get. You may get lucky and have no problems, but they have constant delays and even cancellations… where you will be lucky to even receive an apology.

made a booking last june for 5 and after a week, i cancelled 2tickets and apply for refund. i left and alredy back in Manila but my refund for these 2tickets are still not with my bank. I called cebu pacific hotline 4 days in a row giving me different responses - my refund was approved last August and they will follow up with the accounting. an agent gave me 2 numbers to call which is surprisingly their budget department who do not entertain inquiries. and watch out for this, their accounting department line will only ring between 12nn to 1pm with no one to answer. and for the rest of the day, it is a super busy tone. good luck to those who will have a refund with this airline..start calling!

Cebu Pacific are corporate theives with their refund that is never refunded policy. Married to a Filipina, I am an Englishman in the UK and have waited for a refund for 9 months but it never appeared. They refuse to talk on the phone, they refuse to answer emails and refuse to speak to my bank (HSBC) when they phoned them! This BUY A TICKET AND HAVE IT REFUNDED WHEN YOU CHANGE IT system is clearly an organised scam. The number of people that have had basically the same thing happen to them proves it to be a scam. Searching Google for CEBU PACIFIC REFUND brings up a multitude of complaints. They told me that the refund could take up to 6 months but when the date passed I reported it to HSBC who say they cannot recover the money once 118 days have passed. So they are conveniently making the refund date later that the latest date the money can be recovered. I am currently involving the media in this scam and I am also considering taking Legal Action in the Philippines against Cebu Pacific. If anyone has full details of a refund that was never made or of their 6 month wait policy, please email the details to CP.SCAM@ABACOM.ORG.UK to help me put together a case. If they owe you and if in total it amounts to a lot, maybe we can all recover.

I’VE GIVEN UP ON CEBU PACIFIC! Save yourselves, this airline is inefficient, with VERY BAD customer service (they keep you waiting for hours on their “hotline”) and NEVER get back to you on problems once they’ve gotten hold of your money! I tried to get a refund for my ticket and its been 8 months, they just vollied me from one person to another claiming “its being processed”, but the truth is they’re just waiting for me to give up! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AIRLINE! They wouldnt have done anything if I hadn’t gotten hold of their marketing manager’s email and threatened them with PR nightmare. $$%%&^&^!!!
