Waterfront Hotel at Cebu

Aside from Shangri La Mactan, Marriot Hotel, and Plantation Bay, Waterfront Hotel at Cebu is amongst the premier hotels there. In my recent Cebu trip, I had the opportunity to stay there for 4 days and 3 nights. And if you are going to stay there because of work, you will have the chance to enjoy the free WiFi access at all the function rooms and at the main lobby.
The accommodation at Waterfront is also inclusive of a free buffet breakfast at Cafe Uno which is located just beside the main lobby. The cheapest rate there starts at around 90 USD per night. Aside from the free buffet breakfast, you’re also entitled to use their amenities for free such as the CitiGYM which is open for 24 hours, an in-room massage and their swimming pool dubbed as Pool Aquarius.

If you want to try your “beginner’s luck”, Waterfront Cebu houses the Casino Filipino. If you’re planning to go inside Casino Filipino, cameras are not allowed inside. And if you have a camera phone with you, the security guard will put a sticker on its lens.
Visit their website to know more about Waterfront Hotel.

Maayong gabii!
I saw this hotel from my room at the Marriott because I was in no position to spend that kind of money. I’m sure it was quite luxurious, but $69/night sounded much better to me…and I got quite an elegant experience in return at the Marriott.

I stayed at the Waterfront Cebu in July for a week and loved it. All staff members, from room service to the in house doctor, were so pleasant and attentive. There are many choices of restaurants to eat at inside of the Waterfront and they all have great food! We ate at the hotel more than any other place! There is a Duty Free store in the lobby that sells Evian bottled water which was a big plus for me because I was warned not to drink the Filipino bottled water and Evian wasn’t sold in most grocery stores. You can hire a driver for the day directly from the hotel which is nice for day trips etc. and there are always taxi’s lined up as well so no waiting. The Waterfront grounds were nice and even though it’s located in the city, the landscaping made it seem secluded. We stayed in a deluxe room which was nice and well kept. I am returning in January for the Sinulog Festival and look forward to staying there again and hopefully seeing familiar staff who made my trip a wonderful experience.

this summer is a good season to visit cebu. After a long stressful months of work it is now the time for me to go around and visit the tourist spot of the Philippines and also to unwind. I prefer to choose the waterfront hotel for my accomodation because I don’t need to go other places just to buy some clothes and any personal thing. The hotel itself has an open store and I can buy such thing that I need. So why should I go anywhere? And I can utilize all the amenities in the hotel. Waterfront hotel is very a pleasant place for living.
