I can say that Bataan is my second home, though born in Manila and grew up in Q.C. Bataan is a nice place to live and visit. People are nice and friendly. I love to visit Corregidor Island, a nice place to stay overnight. Ghost hunting and the like. Got a property in Mariveles just opposite the Corregidor Island.

Hello. I read your blog about Corregidor Island. Is it possible to go there without joining a tour? We’re on a budget of 6 pax. Can we just take the ferry, hire a tour when we reach there & bring our own lunch? Thanks.

Yes, I’m sure there’s a way.

Would I recommend it?
No. Tours are booked at Manila-side (not Corregidor side). It’s not easy getting around on your own unless you bring your own bicycle/scooter. Konti lang ang mapupuntahan ninyo if you travel on foot.

I am trying to find Randalie (Gumba) Kaiklian who may be the mother of my daughter, Merry-Kris. Merry-Kris may have been born in 1985 when I was in the US Navy. corregidor is politically part of Cavite even if geographically closer to Bataan
