Wow this Zoo must be good if it’s been compared to Sydney’s widlife park. It’s good to know that Philippines still managed to preserved it’s wildlife, knowing that Manila Zoo isn’t kept well as it use to. Ka_edong, did you get to visit The Taronga Zoo In Sydney? We also now have a Wildlife Park next to the Aquarium. Worth a visit for those who wants to visit Sydney…

Nice pic, I want to see more pics of the ZOO, too bad there are only a handful of zoo’s here in Davao, the biggest is the Philippine Eagle, but it’s such a long time since I went there, another zoo here is the famous croc park, hehe, they house the largest (maybe?) croc found here in Mindanao named pangil! huhu, Scare~ry!

Ka Edong - were there giraffes and elephants in Avilon? The last time we went there, they said those animals are soon to arrive.

anyway, you might want to visit Zooobic as well ->http://www.pinoytravelblog.com/roadtrip/433/zoobic-ocean-adventure

although as the Zooobic tour guide said, Avilon Zoo is better than theirs.
