Sampaguita Gardens in Aklan

Whenever I thought of Aklan, the first thing that comes into my mind is of course Boracay Islands. But that was when I learned about Sampaguita Gardens, a haven to refresh all your senses…a place to stay, relax and enjoy.” Located in the municipality of New Washington in Aklan, Sampaguita Gardens is owned by Precious Moments creator Sam Butcher. The Gardens is a resort, amusement park, and convention center housed under one mansion. It has Circus Rides, Spa, Swimming pool, Gym facilities. a 43 ft. Aquarium, Jojo’s Christmas Cottage which sells Precious Moments collectibles, a Butterfly Farm and a Precious Moments museum.

If you are a Precious Moments stuff collector, this is the ultimate depot for you. If you are not, then this place can offer you other relaxing activities. And if you have time, you might want to do a sidetrip to Boracay Island. Just like hitting two tourist destinations in one trip.

Hello!

Ive’been there at Samapaguita Gardens last May…It was just a stop over from Boracay Island wherein we’ve conducted a training. Actually it wasn’t in the plan to go there but many of the participants insist and even me was excited to see Sampaguita Gardens for it was featured several times in the television… It ended very great.. the place was good and very nice… a very nice place to stay with… a unique and calm place…it was just sad that we are running out of time… we’ve spent the tour there almost 3 hours only… I am very much excited to visit it again… I hope so…the place is excellent…

We just stayed there overnight last Sunday after our family trip from Boracay. The place did live up to its expectations. And one thing that struck me most is the service that you get. They staff were very nice and accomodating. How I wish Mr. B (the owner) could transport this place here in Manila preferably near the Bay to achieve the effect of their Boardwalk…hehehe

Few close friends call me Precious and so I was delighted to know that Precious Moments dolls are locally made(in Pasig City). I found out about this when I visited Sampaguita Gardens last October 18, 2008 to attend a confreence….Wow! I felt like a child again. I bought one doll for myself!
