Hi!!! I'm really proud I'm a Marinduquena girl. I am really proud of our culture especially celebrating Moriones festival. It strengthens my sense of Christianity. thanks for making this website... I'm going to use this for my persuasive speech in my class. I'll entice them to go to our province with facts that you're giving me.

My dream in the future is to see Marinduque as a tourist destination worldwide not only on Easter Week (Moriones Festival) but all year round to compete with Boracay Island. To achieve this goal, the highest priority will be to restore air transportation services from Manila. I have 2 couples guests France last Easter for one week. They enjoyed their stay at my resort (Chateau Du Mer, Amoingon, Boac ( www.chateaudumer.com) and plan to return next year. They enjoyed the Festival, the beaches , the hospitality of the Marinduquenos, but complained of the waiting in Lucena and the ferry ride. With air service, this will not be a problem.
