Great timing too as my wife was planning her trip to Manila and we were able to get a round trip flight from Davao to Manila at under 5k.

People wanting to avail of this offer should book immediately as the promo window is between May 15 – 18, 2008 only.

Personally, I think it is best to take a vacation during off peak season. That way you get to save a lot because most summer places will jack up their prices to take advantage of the season. And in a way you are helping these summer places make ends meet during their lean months.

Cebu Pacific just launched a new low fare promo on flights in and around Asia. The seat sale starts at Php888, exclusive of VAT and surcharges.

The Php888 seat offer is for one-way flights to international routes from Manila, Cebu, and Davao. The seat sale will run from March 5 to 9, 2008 or until the allocated seats are sold out.

The airline has allocated more than 160,000 seats for its international seat sale. International services include Manila to: Bangkok, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Taipei, Shanghai, Singapore, and Xiamen.

This is also available for non-stop services from Cebu to: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Taipei.

Moreover, it is also offered for both non-stop Davao-Hong Kong and Davao-Singapore services. The promo is likewise extended to Davao services to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Taipei via Cebu. This is good for travel from April 1 to December 15, 2008.

CebuPacific Air does another round of airfare promos. This time, the Manila to Puerto Princesa, Palwan flights have been increased by 50% and they’re offering a Php98 per seat sale today!

CEB is offering a P98 one-way fare for the Manila-Puerto Princesa route from August 24-31, 2007. The seat sale fare is good for travel from September 26 to December 15, 2007. Fares are exclusive of government taxes and applicable surcharges.

The additional flights are scheduled to operate using CEB’s 179-seater Airbus A320 aircraft every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The flight departs from Manila at 2:30pm and arrives at 3:45pm in Puerto Princesa. The return flight leaves Puerto Princesa at 4:15pm and lands in Manila at 5:30pm.

Of course, there are surcharges and taxes added to that so you’ll end up paying somewhere around a thousand bucks or more. Still, it’s a bargain.
