Holler! This site is really really helpful.
We will be going to puerto galera this coming january 27 to 29 and we are at a loss (or rather me, since im planning it) on where to stay. personally, i’d rather just stay at coco beach (coz av been there) pero for a change, we want to “rough it in” we’re torn between three choices

white beach guest house.

Me and my team from teleperformance are planning to come in puerto this coming April 10, 11, 12 2010. Team bonding namin Meron ba kayong ma sa-suggest na place na makaka-mura kami sa room for 3 days and 2 nights.

i’ve been to puerto galera but was not able to search affordable rooms because i am with my team… i’m planning to go there again this april… pls send me the most easiest, cheapest and wise way to spend my stay in puerto galera… i am also interested in talipanan? but i dont know how to go there.. where can i find the tricycle terminal? my friends are students…. so pls give me the list of the most affordable rooms and its rate…. thanks

Just came back from Galera and would recommend Mountain Beach Resort. Service is superb, super super bait ni Ephay, very accomodating sa mga guests(service with a smile palagi).

Our room is clean, a/c is good, hot water is ok.

The beach is serene, the place is nice though walang theme. Rocky yun sands, but you can always stray to the nearby beaches and check out the parts of Galera.

best place to unwind and relax, unlike in whitebeach where it looks more like manila with all the crowded people and noise.

The room rates are cheap but with good clean rooms. Food is rather slowly served but you know it’s freshly prepared.
Did not have to pay for extra ice. food prices are a little pricey.

still, overall, I would recommend Mountain Beach Resort.

Hi there,

if your planing to go to Talipanan Beach, you should go to MENGIE´S Resort. The rooms are cheap and clean and the food is the BEST on the Beach. Most of you like Lucas, what i cant´t understand. The Pizza is around 380 ok its big but only very less toppings….So Try Mengie´s. The rates are around 500 Off Season and 1,500 High Season.
