Igang is Hiligaynon word for limestone which is very abundant in Guimaras. The island itself is made of limestone, that’s why Guimaras mangoes are sweet because the lime neutralizes the acid in mangoes.

I’d like to be informed of the room rates and how to get in Villa Igang. I’d probably visit the place 1st week of Octoer. If the management could post any contact number, I’d truly appreciate that.

Hi guys. We stayed in Villa Igang from 16 to 18 February 2006, and thoroughly enjoyed the place. In fact, I’ve been recommending it to friends.
