Ligligan Parul 2005
The Ligligan Parul (Giant Lantern Festival) was held last night at the ampitheater of SM San Fernando, Pampange. Thousands flocked to the venue to witness the the beautifully-crafted lanterns showing their lovely patterns.
Pampanga has definitely lived up to its title as the Christmas Capital of the Philippines.

Those are absolutely gorgeous lanterns … too bad they didn’t promote the festival too well pre-event.

when i was in SM san fernando, i really thought that i went there on a wrong date.. since there were no noise about the festival. the people were just busy shopping at the Mall. (twas midnight sale in SM that dsame day!)
