Try going there on October, we went there last year and stayed at Dumaluan Resort. The weather was fantastic, and there weren't a lot of people so it was truly relaxing. We saw a lot of dolphins but only from afar, but it's still worth it because it seems like they were playing habulan with the boats. Try going also on the underground cave, it was spectacular! You will see all of these swallow birds zooming in and out of the two holes of the caves. Going inside is a challenge because the rocks that serve as the stairs were so steep and slippery. We weren't able to swim in the mini-pool inside the cave though, as it was already late in the afternoon when we arrived there. I recommend taking the day tour first that will take you a whole day to explore Bohol's beautiful places everywhere. In that way, you could leave your belongings inside the van and then you could proceed to the beach afterwards. Truly, Bohol is one of a kind!
