IT'S UGLY!!!I'm a Filipino mayself and of course would love to recommend tourism in our country. However, putting animals in captivity is just pure cruelty. I wonder where they got the dolphins and how long they traveled. I remember the story told by one of the crews about the whales DYING in the captivity, not even able to start a show. that's their own way of suicide due to stress.STOP WATCHING DOLPHIN AND WHALE SHOWS. You're killing them. Rather, I would like to invite tourists to real nature in the Philippines, like Palawan or Bohol or Camarines Sur.

Had a great time in Zoobic with my husband and two little ones. People at the hotel were nice and the tour was worth it. I must say I'd want to go back again.
Funny though because we had a very unpleasant experience not with the staff nor the animals (I'm glad) but with another guest. They go by the name "Domingo" is all I know, they were a group of 20. This was in January 30, 2009 btw. This elderly lady(must be around my Mom's age late 50's if not early 60's) who was shockingly rude in the train ride to the safari trip. To cut a long story short, even the tour guide and the other people we went around with were shocked about her attitude. The group decided to skip the rest of the tour after the incident which was much better for us. She was calling me a "B**ch" and all just because I reminded her that the seats in the train were made for 4 people only (as the tour guide mentioned earlier in the tour) There was myself, my husband and my two kids. Initially they were not in the same train as us but somehow during the latter part of the tour their group changed trains and all wanted to be together. She was telling one of their companion to sit next to my son (words were sumiksik ka nalang diyan) without even asking me or my husband if it was okay. I just told her that there were already 4 on our seat and then... she just turned into a monster. Calling names, mimiking the way I speak (her not knowing I am an Australian citizen-and we do sound funny to non-aussies ) saying things about the brand of clothes I had on. My husband was so upset he pretended to strangle her from behind.. hahaha!! that was so funny actually because my husband is such a serious man being in the military and all. The whole train reacted.. we just laughed. My son cold not forget that lady. He told me when we went back to the car that "mommy, that lady was bad. She upset me while I was in the train" My poor boy, did not get upset with the wild animals but had a bad moment with this lady who led the "DOMINGO GROUP OF 20 WHO LIVES IN PARANAQUE" Unforgetable experience. Never the less, we had a great time. Go visit Zoobic, you wont regret it. Just beware of the Domingo Lady!! hahaha.. Enjoy your trip
