It was a fun-filled and educational trip. The travel time from Quezon City Memorial Circle was well worth it.Avilon Zoo is a one-hour drive away from Quezon Memorial Circle. There are three routes that you can follow  to get to Avilon Zoo. All these routes would take you to the town of Rodriguez (formerly Montalban), Rizal, where Avilon Zoo is 30 minutes away including traffic due to narrow main roads and lots of Public Utility Jeepneys and Tricicles (3-wheeled passenger vehicles) plying the route. If you are not lucky, you might chanced upon a funeral procession since the cemetery is along the national road.
