hi there, im hinigaranon, hometown of the beaches stated on this post. Paradiso, Bulubituon, and Canonoy. Yeah, its true that its a shame on the owner of paradiso beach due to their 'impressive' advertisements but disappointing experiences. it is also true that the shore is a bit crap. No white sand but white-cracked shells that would cut your soles.

I have a set of pics taken in Bulubituon. If you don't mind you could visit http://eackouye.i.ph/blogs/eackouye/2008/04/04/photography-bulubituon-beach/

sorry coz im an amateur to photography and im not using professional cam yet but soon to be :D

I've heard the same disappointing review about Paradiso. It's such a waste that the owner wasn't able to recreate a cleaner and nicer beachside when he was able to recreate an impressive resort. I agree that Bulubitoon is a nice beach although simple. Canonoy is also worth winding down for. You, guys, should try the place as well.

Thank God you liked Bulubituon... my mom's from Hinigaran so everytime we go and visit down south, we and the rest of the cousins and relatives go to that beach. Compared to punta taytay in sum-ag, this was definitely better. Brown volcanic sand, dark green waters and relatively clean environment. We would rent a cottage til the late afternoon, have barbeque lunch under the nipa cottage, and laze around. mmmm

Btw, i hope you do another article about the "better" beaches of Negros particularly those in Sipalay or Llacawon. I fear other readers who haven't been to Negros will think that all the beaches there are crap.
