We were in Pampanga for two days to join the first Pampanga fam tour courtesy of Adventour Asia Magazine in partnership with the local travel operators and the local tourism office here.
Our first stop is at YU-FU-In restaurant managed by this very young half Japanese half Filipina entrepreneur, Mitch Otsuro. Incidentally, Mitch is the current president of HARP (Hotel and Restaurant Association of Pampanga). HARP as 86 active members and this year, the organization is led by a 26-year old busineswoman.
The restaurant is located at First Street corner Second Street, Balibago Angeles City, 2011 Angeles City. Its very near SM Clark and almost in front of the park where the golden salakot is located.
The name of the restaurant, Yufuin came from the Mr. Otsuru’s hometown in Oita, Japan. Yufuin’s specialty is yakiniku meaning “meat grilling” where the customers get to cook their own food at their tables. YU-FU-IN is the perfect place for family occasions, business meetings and simple after-work get-togethers. Source
If you love books, they have a mini library at the second floor.
YU-FU-IN is a member of the Otsuro Group of Companies. Juliana, PinkLady, Yu-Fu-In, Company Shirts are the companies under the umbrella. We also visited Juliana for a three bottle of beer.
YU-FU-IN accepts cash and credit card payments. They serve lunch, dinner, coffee, and other drinks. The restaurant has VIP rooms exclusive for groups. It is open from 10AM to 1AM from Mondays to Sundays.
