Foton View Traveller; an alternative family van

I was at the Foton Big Show 2013 three days ago at the World Trade Center to cover the three-day event by Foton, a Chinese car manufacturer that has been in the Philippines for a long while now.

The Big Show featured Foton’s line up of automobile products from construction heavy equipment, to trucks, AUVs’, SUVs, including the family van which they called View Traveller. The View Traveller is a 15-seater van that is really huge van which is perfect not only for family use but for business too.

The View Traveller is is powered by Cummins ISF 2.8L 16-valve turbocharged engine, it also use Bosch CRDI technology that gives you 130HP max of power and a 280 Newton-meters of torque.

The Chinese car manufacturer claims claims that the View Traveller has the widest overall width of 5.38m and one of the longest wheelbases in its class measuring 3.11m. The 15-searter van can be configured to a 9-seater depending on the customer’s option. Halogen headlamps with height adjustments are installed, fog lamps, ABS and EBD, power windows, individual seat bealts, dual-front airbags and central lock system, including the key-less feature.

While driving all passengers can enjoy audio playback with the CD player with USB port that plays MP3 files, the van has 4-speaker stereo system.

View Traveller has a huge tank of 70-liters, that means you don’t have to gas up everytime on a long drive.
