SkyRanch is the newest theme park in Tagaytay, your nearest getaway if you are super stressed in Manila. It will only take you an hour or so on a cruising speed via the South Luzon Expressway or via Aguinaldo highway in Cavite.
How to get there:
1. PUBLIC TRANSPORT – BUS: (From Manila) head to Buendia corner Taft avenue in Pasay, there are few bus stations there, look for the signs “MENDEZ – TAGAYTAY/NASUGBU”, buses like Erjohn, Kirby, Golden Dragon, San Agustin and Saulog has daily trips to Batangas that passes to Tagaytay. I have not taken a bus ride so I have no idea how much is the bus fare right now.
2. PRIVATE CARS: You have two choices – via SLEX Freeway (South Luzon Expressway), this is the fastest way to get there but you have to pay toll fees. The second option is via Aguinaldo Highway, you need to pass a short freeway to get here, the CAVITEX or the Cavite Expressway, toll fee is minimal here, only P22 for small cars, but you have to prepare for a little long drive since you pass trough traffic routes.
It is highly suggested that you go to Tagaytay in a private car since there is no taxi service in Tagaytay, you can hire tricycles or take jeepney but it will be a little more hassle.
SkyRanch as we mentioned is the newest theme park in the city. It has the biggest Ferris Wheel called Sky Eye, it is 200 ft which is higher than what Mall of Asia has (MOA Eye is only 180feet). Sky Eye has 32 gondolas and you need to pay P150 for a 10-minute ride.
