EDSA Bus Segregation scheme starts today

So we thought we’d like to share this important implementation by MMDA along EDSA today. This will be helpful specially to the daily bus commuter in this everyday-traffic-highway in Metro Manila.

Beginning today, MMDA will implement the bus segregation scheme. It is important to take note of the bus you ride everyday so that you end up alighting in the correct bus stations.

So there are Bus A or Bus B to take note of, unless you want to take Bus C that stops in all of the bus stops along EDSA.

So summarize it all, check the listing below:

Buses A and B can only use their designated A and B bus stops, period. There is Bus C, this bus will be allowed to use all bus stops.

Bus A will stop at the following bus stops: Bus A stops are painted red.

  • Northbound – Magallanes, Buendia, Guadalupe, Shaw Boulevard, SM Megamall, Boni Serrano, Cubao Farmers, and Ermin Garcia.
  • Southbound – Ermin Garcia, Arayat Cubao, VV Soliven, Connecticut, Shaw Starmall, Guadalupe, Buendia Avenue, and Mantrade.

Bus B will stop at the following bays: Bus B stops are painted blue.

  • Northbound – Ayala Avenue, Estrella, Pioneer/Boni, SM Megamall, Ortigas Avenue, Main Avenue, and Baliwag/5 Star.
  • Southbound – Kamuning, Monte de Piedad, Main Avenue, POEA Ortigas, Pioneer/Boni, Estrella, and Ayala Avenue.

We have seen how the MMDA has put efforts in managing at least, not even reducing the traffic in EDSA. We support MMDA in this program. We are also hopeful that the traffic in EDSA will be significantly reduce upon implementing this program.
