Burnham Suites: A New Place to Stay in Baguio

Kisad Road in Baguio has a new posh hotel that just opened a few weeks ago. Burnham Suites lies at the end of Kisad Road right at the top of Burnham Park. It is a promising 7-storey five star hotel which gives you the feeling of actually staying on a condominium unit.

Since, the hotel just opened a few weeks ago, expect some minor kinks in terms of services and facilities. But as it is last weekend the hotel is pretty much a good place to stay when you are in Baguio. It’s a cheaper alternative to Manor Hotel (a personal favorite of mine) in Camp John Hay although I still prefer the ambiance, the environment, spaciousness of the rooms in Manor Hotel. Nonetheless if you are in a tight budget, Burnham Suites is definitely a good place to stay.

The rooms are pretty neat, with wooden parquet floorings, and equipped with LCD TV, DVD Player, Air-conditioning Units, Hot and Cold Shower (definitely a must in Baguio)

Watch out for future services and amenities. Burnham Suites is set have a Wi-Fi according to the hotel management. Hopefully their restaurants will have a buffet breakfast for hotel guests. The set meals were not extra ordinary. Just your usual over-priced 5-star hotel meals.

    Disgusting hotel! Service is poor considering the price my fiancé paid for. I don’t know if the staffs are being trained by their their General Manager whom which Iv been trying to reach to complain the stink in our room that caused a fortune but the receptionist keeps on telling me that he was busy! I was deeply depressed it ruined our vacation; this hotel fooled us knowing that we are going to be treated the 5 star way! Even the breakfast tasted awful. I just wish we went to Camp John Hay instead and stayed at Manor I bet we would have a bargain price and a luxury Accommodation and Quality service as of what we paid for!

    FYG, the Burnham Suites is not a five star hotel. It is pricey for a non-five star hotel. Heck, the Manor is not even a five star hotel.

    A good place where to stay is Burnhamsuites at baguio city located at the burnham park, the rooms are cozy, we enjoyed staying there last november, the staff are good the front desk man are good to give discounted rate that suit to my budget, he’s so eager to sell the rooms and so jolly person his name is jay-c small but terrible person, i think he’s a manager cause he gave a huge discount, the food are not so good but its really nice place and all the hotel staff are smiling face and helpful, i highly recommended this hotel.

    i suggest you save yourselves the grief

    checked in sunday sept 21.
    front desk was cold
    service was bad

    waiting for the general manager to attend to my concern. i reported the unfortunate incidents at 9pm its now 1130 and still no word nor an attempt to compensate me for my very very horrible treatment.

    front desk sucked big time but the bellhop had redeeming qualitites.

    please dont suggest this place to your friends. will email you a print out of the incident report when dont. i also plan to try to have it printed at a local paper. there are so many better places in baguio than this. i feel that the man at the front desk should not be at the front desk interacting with paying customers if he has TQM training. Ive had better treatment at microtel, the baguio country club, john hay manor, pinky’s B & B.

    to think i even went to the opening of this place october last year and bought a lot of prepaid hotel nights. I do hope you will refund the 21 nights i bought in advance.

    i assure you. if that front desk man is still there working you will be screaming: REFUND! REFUND! REFUND!

    I stayed there before. The hotel facility is good, but excellent compare to its price(I paid only about $20/night). So would recommend Burnham Suites Hotel for the place to stay in Baguio too.

    I was wondering if they started offering package deals? I’m planning to surprise mah hubby to tour Baguio city. If they don’t do you know if this is close to everything? It’s been a long time that I visited Baguio so not that familiar w/ the place anymore.

    Just in case if we travel between Nov. 17-21st how much would it be per night?

    My fiance and I stayed here and the room was so great! Very new.. Simple yet elegant. Receptionist was nice to us and you get to see Burnham Park 24/7 then there is a nice Korean Restaurant nearby. It looks like an old mansion house converted into a restaurant.

    I highly recommend this place :)
