Club Manila East Central

Right in the heart of Taytay, Rizal is an exciting resort which boost of a 9,100 sq. m. lagoon-shaped mega pool which resembles Laguna De Bay. Club Manila East Central features aside from the mega pool, a kiddie pool, an adult pool with giant slide, olympic size and bean shaped swimming pool, plus a golf driving range, 54 cabanas, 40 air-conditioned villas complete with all the nice amenities.

There are a lot of fun water activities that can be held in the resort. The megapool has an area for kayaking where one can experience paddling a kayak minus the rapid waves of a real river of course. Another area of the mega pool has two hoops at both ends similar to a basketball court. The giant 3-loop slide is enough to give you that adrenalin rush before plunging into the water.
Accomodations in the resort is not a problem and is very reasonably priced. A cabana complete with tables and chairs and a toilet can be rented for php1000/6 hour. Enclosed huts can be rented for php500 for the 1st 6 hours. For overnight accomodations, 40 air-conditioned villas, equipped with 2 single beds, a queen size sofa bed, reheating stove, TV and refrigerator, are available for php2900 on a twin sharing basis.

One drawback however, is that bringing of foods and drinks is not allowed. You have to buy your food and drinks from food shops located inside the resort. The good thing is, those food items are reasonable priced and taste decent enough. If you are tight on the budget, you can bring your own food and drinks, and just go out whenever you want to eat.

Worst experience. Someone broke inside our room while me and my family were swimming. Before leaving the room, we made sure that the doors were locked, both from the adjoining door connecting the other room and the main door. When we went back, my camera bag including lenses are missing including my wife’s iPhone. We were only thankful that only these things were taken, but what if my kids are inside the room and someone broke in. Who knows what might happen.

I wouldn’t recommend Club Manila East, especially if you have with you your cameras or some gadgets. Security in the area is very poor. The only security we saw is in the main entrance. In the area where overnight accommodation is, there are no security in sight. This happened June 18, 2011.

the email address of club manila east is not working…..I feel so bad about club manila east policy on the foods. bringing of foods for kids should be an exception. My kids loves to drink chamyto, yakult and chocolait and eat jellyace, foods that are not available inside the club and they will not be alllowed inside the club, worst…. the wilkins water shall not be allowed if in the water jug of my kids… are you guys not thinking about your kids being thirsty in the middle of the sunny day.. they are drinking wilkins all their life and you will not allow drinking water for kids… you ask guest to just walk to the gate where they can drink it. what are you guys thinking about… do you have waiters na maghatid at magdala ng food sa gate at mag assists sa kids namin. sa layo ng cottages sa gate and with kids always asking for their food , do you expect us to walk back and forth to the gate from the time we enter your club. ? I was looking forward to see your club, just to be treated the way my kids will not be happy about. It’s really disgusting and kids unfriendly. Nobody dared to get our name and when my kids tried to get the food twice from the gate, they cannot give the food because it was untagged. what do you think of these kids, walking under the ar conditioned room.. do you know how to pacify the kids? maybe not…and maybe it’s not a place to be/.

I cannot recommend your club to anybody and worst i cannot say anything good about your place.

You can go there from cubao Just ride a jeepney going to angono or binangonan and just say to drop you in Club Manila East (they will drop you off in front if its main gate) then ride a trycicle going inside….

Or You can ride an FX but be sure to tell it to the driver first hand so that they will not use the shortcut.

If they do not know it just tell them “Bagong Palengke ng Taytay”

Note: Jeepney and FX terminal is near the automatic center.
